Octablò is a website builder made only for restaurants, bars, cafés and food trucks, by a team that has spent years designing websites for hospitality.
Why we built it
For years we designed websites for restaurants, bars and cafés. We loved the work, but we kept seeing the same story after launch day.
The owner had paid thousands for a beautiful site, then couldn't change it. A new menu meant an email to us. A holiday closure meant waiting. By the next season the site was out of date, and nobody had time to fix it.
The owners didn't need more features. They needed a site that was theirs: quick to set up, easy to change, and good enough to be proud of. So we built Octablò.
What we learned first
Before writing a line of code, we studied 71 restaurant websites in detail, from family trattorias to beach clubs and fine dining.
We found that almost every site tries to answer the same few questions: what's on the menu, when are you open, where are you, and how do I book. We also found how quickly sites go stale. Last year's festive menu still in the navigation. A closure notice from two summers ago. A copyright line stuck in 2020.
Those findings shaped everything in Octablò: menus that change in seconds, opening hours that know the date, and sections that switch themselves off when an offer ends.

- Your site should be yours
You shouldn't need a developer to change a price or your opening hours. If you can post a photo on Instagram, you can run your Octablò site.

We never take a commission on bookings or orders. Guests contact you directly, or book through the partner you already use.
